I have a "for civilian" commercial import pre-ban Chinese SKS rifle. Imported 1989. No arsenal symbol, just "Made in China by CGA" & "Imported by GLNIC LA. CA". 10 round attached magazine, spike bayonet, cleaning kit in buttstock, all numbers match. About 100 rounds fired. My first ever rifle a Russian SKS, I would like to know more information about this rifle, please see comments for details! 1952 produced at Tula. Refurbished at the arsenal (square with the diagonal line). IMO for the collector the Russian Tula's are the most sought after SKS's with next being the factory 26's, but the rarest SKS rifles are the North Koreans and the Vietnamese ones. Absolutely. The plain jane “Classic” SKS-KD is the same thing as any other Russian SKS with a few key differences. The bolt has been modified and reblued. The magazine release has been modified to work with AK47 magazines.
